Was Hitler a Jew?

In reality, Hitler wasn't Jewish. However, their has been rumors and evidence of false genetic results that says one of Hitler's Grandparents was Jewish. This is an rumor because Hitler's grand mother, His mothers's mum supposed of been Jewish and Hitler's inherited the Jewish religion during her childhood. This part is unconfirmed due to many reports and claims but one point is clear is that Hitler's Mother did start to dislike and didn't want her son to be Jewish when she was in her early teens and mid 20s.

Why did people put Hitler in charge?

In Germany in the early 1930s there were about 850,000 Jews and people of Jewish origin (including people who were one-quarter Jewish). Out of a total population of about 62 million this amounts to about 1.4%. That's nowhere near enough to have much of an electoral impact. (The assumption you make in the question about 'large amount' is inaccurate).

Did anyone know that Hitler was a Jew during the holocaust?

Technically, Hitler wasn't an Jew, according to records Hitler's Mother's Father wasn't born as a Jew but was raised, so this makes Hitler partially Jewish. However, this is disproved since his mother and father wern't Jewish. So noone did knew Hitler had an distant Jewish relative._______________According to Ian Kershaw's two-volume biography of Hitler, stories claiming that Hitler was part Jewish had circulated ever since the early 1920s. They seem to have remained very popular ever since.

Does Hitler have Jewish in his descent?

There are some rumors hinting that Hitler's grandfather was Jewish, but few Hitler historians believe that this is true, (but see below). This rumor most likely started because Hitler always tried to keep the history of his family secret, but this was most likely because there was a high incidence of insanity in his family history, not because of a Jewish ancestory in his family. Early in his time as chancellor of Germany, Hitler did assign Joseph Goebbels to research his lineage to find out if he had any Jewish blood. Goebbels reported back that there was a 50/50 chance Hitler was 1/4 Jewish.
