First they established the Inquisition in 1478. This was initially intended to assure that Muslims in conquered area did, indeed, convert to Christianity. In 1492 they defeated the last Muslims in Spain. The Muslims could either convert or leave. Later they simply expelled the Muslims. Finally they expelled the Jews. Later the nature of the Inquisition changed and it became much harsher.
First she and her co-ruler defeated the Moors. Then they expelled the Moors and the Jews from Spain or forced them to convert to Catholicism under threat of death from the Spanish Inquisition.

We are all Christians. The Catholic Church was the original church so this is not a good question. However, Isabella has some Spanish roots and since Spain is predominantly catholic then I guess it's catholic. (btw the word catholic means universal)
