The main religion in Azerbaijan is Islam. Muslim people (people who follow the religion of Islam) make up about 95% of Azerbaijan with the Shi'a dominating with 85%.
Azerbaijan is a predominantly Muslim country, so it does not have a patron saint. The country's religious practices are influenced by Islam rather than Christian saints.
The dominant religion in Azerbaijan is Islam, but due to the Soviet occupation, most Azeris are rather liberal in their religious outlook, especially when compared to the Azeris in Iran.

Singapore was apart of Malacca Malay Sultanate so the arrival of Islam to Singapore is almost identical to Malacca.

SAVAK was the Iranian Secret Police under the Shah of Iran. Shiites are the sect of Islam that is dominant in Iran, Iraq, and Azerbaijan.
The language of Iran is called Farsi and most Iranians are Shiite Muslims, although this is not an exclusively Iranian version of Islam as it is also practiced in Bahrain, Syria, Azerbaijan, and several other countries.
The Kurds are a group of ethnically and culturally diverse people who primarily inhabit a region known as Kurdistan, which is located in parts of Turkey, Iraq, Iran, and Syria. Kurdistan does not have official recognition as a sovereign state.
Through the mogul rulers who marched into these countries and forcefully converted the people with fear.
