Jesus never spread Christianity around the world it was the disciples, and Mark and Luke who spread Christianity all over the world.

They did this firstly by preaching, witnessing about Jesus, miracles in some cases, through charitable works and later through the writing down of the truth of Christ.

Answer/

By manifesting into the form of Man in conjuncture with the times of expansion of trade and knowledge.

That is The Christ by becoming manifest during the Roman Empire when the flow of merchant peoples was proliferating, and along with the prevalence of Hellenistic culture that was pervading thought: that of which encouraged pursuit of enlightenment - through travel and discourse and written works, Christians spread His doctrine.

The apostles undertook missionary journeys in the Roman Empire. Some of them established churches in important cities in the empire, particularly in the eastern part. Once these churches became organised, their clergy undertook missionary work. Christianity spread because, unlike other religions, it had a proselytising spirit.

How was Christianity spread by force?

True Christianity has never been spread by force. Jesus indicated clearly and had the behavior to match that 'my kingdom is not of this world.' Those who use force are using worldly methods to spread a spiritual message and they are Christians in name only. Since true faith is matter of the heart, no amount of force can change a person's heart. Force can produce outward obedience for the sake of peace and because people may comply to avoid being harassed or killed, and may just want to get on with their lives. But inwardly their heart is more likely to be opposed to true faith. Those who spread what they called Christianity by force were thus not spreading true Christianity but a corrupted version, which bears little resemblance to the real thing. Jesus said 'you must be born again' not 'you must submit to our religion or die.'
