Yes, the allies shipped lots of supplies from 1943 onwards. Most of it was shipped to Moermansk and that became site the for a lot ofcasualties for the allied navy. It is claimed that the supplies (tanks, airplanes etc) helped the Russians to stop the German offensive in Stalingrad.

The German government agreed to escort Lenin from his exile in Switzerland back to Russia in order that Lenin could provoke another revolution that would take Russia out of World War I. This would allow Germany to move all the military forces it had fighting the Russians over to the western front to fight the French and English. The February Revolution and the abdication of the Tsar had already occurred, but the new Provisional Government did not stop the war. Germany hoped Lenin would at the very least make the Provisional Government end Russia's involvement in the war if not completely stop it by taking over the government, which is what happened. Lenin was not only transported back to Russia but he and the Bolsheviks received money from the Germans as well. Many rival political people accused them of being paid German agents.
He was a pretty successful leader until he lost to the Russians! He would have dominated the world if the Russians didn't stop his early. Thank Russia for that

Russia went to war with Germany and Austria-Hungry because Austria-Hungry invaded Serbia. Russia promised to protect Serbia from invasion so when the invasion came they declared war on Germany and Austria-Hungry and helped the allies win the first world war. It became an extremely bad war for the Russians. The German army was strong and Russia was in turmoil. The people wanted to stop the war, however, until Lenin stopped it by agreeing with Germany that ended the war for Russia.
