Lafayette fought his fist battle at the Battle of Brandywine. Although he did not win the battle, he was wounded and showed courage during the battle and all through out the war. He became one of George Washingtons most respected and trustworthy supporting officers throughout the army. He is most known for his relationship with George Washington.
