People never thought that Music Videos were much of a deal before Thriller, They were simply just someone singing, with simple choreography... But Thriller was something that people had never seen in a music video, It had a storyline behind it, There was acting, and by the end people were not calling it a music video, They were calling it a short film.

Other music videos all had a similar effect, People could tell there was a storyline behind it, Like Bad, Ghosts is another example, Similar to Thriller, There was again acting and astounding choreography.
