the Lord rained down "bread" called manna from the heavens for the people to collect, as well as quail for meat. It collected on the ground and looked like frost, but it would melt away in the hot sun. Read Exodus chapter 16
The first time he left Egypt, Moses left alone. The 2nd time he left, he was accompanied by a throng of up to several million people, comprised of all of the "Children of Israel" and many Egyptians who chose to leave with them.
He was 40 years of age when he went to Midian. (He was 80 when he left Midian to go to Egypt and confront Pharaoh).

The people that fled from Egypt, under reign of Pharaoh Ramses II, were Hebrews, led by Moses of the Old Testament.
Moses was 40 years old when he ran from Egypt into the desert by himself and 80 when he returned back to Egypt. See Acts 7:23 and Acts 7:30.
Moses was told to get the gold. So the Isaraelites plundered the gold from the Egyptians , before they left Egypt.
According to the Bible, all the Hebrew people who left Egypt died in the wilderness, apart from Joshua and Caleb. However, all their decendents are said to have gone to Canaan. However, a near consensus of scholars is reported to believe that there never was an Exodus of Hebrew people from Egypt, as described in the Bible. If the Hebrews did not leave Egypt under Moses, they did not go to Canaan.
There is no indication of his name in the Bible, but scholars call him Pharoah 128, to presume it was Ramses or anyone else is best left to those who do not answer questions on here. And incidentally, no one, Pharaoh or otherwise, drove Moses out of Egypt. Moses went to Pharaoh and demanded he let Moses and his people go (they were slaves in Egypt, not people Pharaoh would be inclined to drive away since they were his cheap labor force). When Pharaoh would not let Moses and the Israelites go, 10 plagues descended upon Egypt one at a time until finally Pharaoh let Moses and his people leave. Pharaoh quickly changed his mind and chased Moses (to either capture them all or kill them all) to the Red Sea where Moses and his people safely crossed the sea and Pharaoh's men/army were all swallowed up by the sea.
Fifty.
Moses of the Bible was born at the age of zero, left Egypt and fled to Midian at 40, returned to Egypt at 80 to confront Pharaoh and lead the Children of Israel out, and died on the threshold of the Promised Land at 120.
Moses left Egypt twice. -- The first time, as a fugitive wanted for murder, he went to Midian, where he became a member of the household of Jethro, the priest of Midian. -- The second time, as the organizer and leader of the mass Exodus of the Hebrew slaves, the "Children of Israel". Note: Moses never, in his entire lifetime, set foot in the "Promised Land".
