The rise of napoleon was a step towards democracy because his coming to power spread nationalism all across Europe. Nationalism gave people the idea that they could revolt and create their own democratic governments. The french loved Napoleon because, although they did not have democracy, Napoleon made them feel like they played a part in everything he did. So, although they did not vote him in, they didn't oppose him either.
By creating the Napoleonic Code.
No. His rise did not lead to Democracy
This depends on what powers the monarch retains. If the monarch is an absolutist, monarchy will be in opposition to democracy. However, numerous monarchies are constitutional monarchies where the monarch has ceded some or most of his power to democratically elected institutions.
monarchy is ruled by a king and is treated unfair
Monarchy was where a single person had absolute rule, like a king. Succession was through the blood line. Democracy is where the public voted for a person to rule, and that person shared power equaly with a senate or congress. Put simply, Monarchy: Blood line, all power. Democracy: Vote, split power.
Those in a democracy get to choose what happens to them and make the decisions. With a monarchy, everything is decided for you and you get no say.

-Napoleon Bonaparte was married to Josephine de Beauharnais, because she had influential friends among the Directory, but because Josephine could not bear children, Napoleon divorced with her. -There were rumors that Josephine had been seeing someone else. -Another reason why Bonaparte wanted to divorce with Josephine was, because he wanted to marry the sister of the Russian leader, Tsar Alexander I, knowing that it would strengthen the alliance between Russia and France. -In the end he married Maria Louise of Austria -Had a son and named him Napoleon
Pretty big difference because the real French royals fought through out most of the 1800's to retain the monarchy. They had to deal with Napoleon and his son and nephew for control. Napoleon and his successors weren't actually royalty even though they acted like were and even though the French for some odd reason treated them like they were. In reality they were despotic militaristic politicians. France went back and forth multiple times in the 1800's between having a monarchy and not, whereas Britain maintained the monarchy (in a constitutional role) through out the 1800's till now just fine; which is probably why Britain has (since Oliver Cromwell) avoided a tyrant.
The similarities between a monarchy and constitutional monarchy are that their are both monarchies.
