The late Kurt Cobain was one of the most well-known members of the famous American grunge band Nirvana. MTV Unplugged in New York was released in 1994 after Cobain's death. The album can be found online through eBay.
That's not hard to answer-- there was only one album released by Nirvana that year. That album was Nirvana's MTV Unplugged set, which was simply titled "MTV Unplugged in New York" when it was released and reached #1 on the UK charts.
