Did Orville brothers have children?

No, neither of the Wright brothers, Orville or Wilbur, had any children. They were both focused on their aviation work and never married.

What is the contribution of wright brothers towards science?

The wright brothers created an airplane on 1902. One day the Wright's brother's (Orville and Wilbur) father bought a flying toy for the boys and this made them interested in flying. But before they build their airplane they had a company for bikes. One day, working in the store one of the brothers named Wilbur had a breakthrough and said that planes should work more like birds. And when hey went to kitty hawk they met a guy name Charlie Taylor, and they designed a new airplane. They also found how to make the airplanes wings. Back in the United States, Orville built a second model a for the corps at fort meyer near Dayton. On september 17, 1908, Orville was flying the model A with Thomas Selfridge. A properller split and broke loose during flight , causing the machine to crash. Selfridge did not survive. Orville spent weeks in the hospital Recovering from his injuries. These kinds of bad things didn't stop the Wright brothers though and soon they had made a lot of good flights and became known as the brothers who invented airplanes. The Wright brother's contribution to science and technology was learning how to build really good airplanes that were safe and would crash very much. Thank you, the end.

Is Frank Lloyd Wright related to Orville and Wilbur Wright?

No, they were not. You may have seen some satire (joke) websites claiming there was a relationship, but there is none in reality. "Wright" was a common last name, and while the famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright was married three times and had numerous relatives, these relatives did not include Wilbur and Orville (better known as the Wright Brothers).

Why did wright brothers make the airplane?

so they could fly...um i thought that was pretty self expainatory... They were overwhelmed with the idea of flight they worked years on creating the first man made flying machine at first they made the glider in 1902 which almost killed one of the brothers. Then they wanted to control the airplane so they created the power wright flyer 1 using propellers which wasn't the end of their long journey of flight they never actually perfected it but when people picked up off their work Orville Wright and Wilbur Wrights names most commonly known as the wright brothers names are and probably forever will be sketched in the history books. Believe it or not but they were owners of a bicycle shop which somehow gave them the idea of flight. At least this is what i learned in school hope most of its right, hope it helped! The first answer isn't mine that's someone else's by the way.

These brothers flew the first airplane?

Wilbur did...alsomore info..--------> A man named Otto Lilienthal inspired the Wright brothers to build their first airplane. He glided on a hill in a big kite-type thing called a hang glider. The brothers really liked this idea and kept thinking about it.When building airplanes, the brothers knew the plane had three requirements to meet. It would need wings to lift it in the air, power to propel it, and a way to control it. The Wrights had the most difficult time figuring out how to control the plane. The plane needed to go up and down, and side to side. Other inventors like Lilienthal and Chanute had previous success with the wings and power. Orville and Wilbur knew that it was very important to be able to control the plane. They knew the pilot needed to keep the plane balanced just like a person riding a bike needed to keep the bike balanced. They thought about how a bird flies and wanted the plane to operate like a flying bird.they had a successful experiment on december 17, 1903 creating an airplane. before the wright brothers, scientists has had numerous attemps to create an airplane and get it to work. these included kites, hot air balloons, air ships, gliders, etc. the first airplane evermade (by the wright brothers) flew only 10 feet off the ground and travled 120 feet and landed 12 seconds after take off.The Wright brothers were the first people to make a motor-powered airplane that could carry one pilot. The brothers flew their first successful plane on December 17, 1903. The airplane could fit one person and that was the pilot. The pilot had to lay down in the airplane. Wilbur flew their longest flight. It was 852 feet and was flown in 59 seconds. the first airplane was made of wood, metal and fabric to strech the wings.

Where did medieval wrights go to work?

It would depend on the particular kind of 'Wright' they were.

How old were Orville and Wilbur Wright when they heard about Otto Lilienthal?

It's hard to say exactly when they first heard of Lilienthal. But in 1896 newspapers in the US were carrying stories about Lilienthal's work and his death. The brothers likely read the story then. That means they would have been in their 30s likely.
