When Iommi realized it was the same Ozzy Osbourne that he had went to school with, the two set about forming a band, which included Bill Ward & Terrence "Geezer" Butler. The band were known by several names including Earth, but they changed their name to Black Sabbath when they discovered that a jazz band had the same name.
