Ruth accepted God in heaven as her God. She left Moab to care for her mother-in-law after both of their husbands died. She was the great-grandma of King David. Esther was a Jewish person spoke up for the Israelites to King Xerxes when they were in danger and he saved them. They both showed cared for the Jewish people. Two female's who saved and/or brought blessings unto their families.

There are two books named after women in the Bible, and both are in the Old Testament. They are Ruth and Esther. That is of you only want the King James version...for Catholics there are three or four. The two mentioned above and then there is Judith. I believe there is another though I have been unable to find it...
There is not a version of the bible that doesn't mention God in the book of Ruth. However, God is not mentioned in the book of Esther in every version.
