To be very realistic its mainly because of the racist era, LSD days, and the babyboom. To explain the performers were white which gave them atleast half the peoples concent & attenton since we were still in the Civil Rights Movement, LSD, a strong drug that rocked the states imbrassing the "hippie lifestyle" using the beatles music as a suppliment of lust and high & finally the babyboom, an era in the late 1940s to around 1970s people producing extreme amounts of babys and prosterity, since The Beatles were young little girls loved them to death and just fell in love as well as young boys (probably homosexual) case & point Justin beiber!

hope this was helpful

The Beatles became so popular because through the centuries, the music changes. From sometime before the year 1400 to the year 1450, it was midevil music. Then it changed to baroque, and classical, and romantic and so one. Then came World War 2, and after the war was over, Elvis came in. Then after Elvis was done, a couple of friends wanted to form a band. It just so happened that that little group of friends was The Beatles, and their music was so different than it had been before, that people absolutely loved it. And that's how The Beatles became so popular.

During time, the style of music changes. When Elvis first appeared, people hated him because they thought his style was dangerous. Eventually they came to accept it, then love it. Then The Beatles came along. Their music was so different, people LOVED it. But when they started out, they weren't that popular either.

It was the beatles style that made them successful. In their early work, they were completely original, they never copied off of an earlier success. This made their music distinct and recognizable. Paul McCarney and John Lennon wrote most of the band's songs and soon George Harrison was writing great material too. Even Ringo Starr contributed to the song effort from time to time. Over time the beatles began to write more sophisticated songs rather than their repeaditive songs about love and relationships. They looked deeper into their potential. The band got sugnifficant attention was George travelled to India to take sitar lessons from Ravi Shankar. Soon their songs became even more distinct. If you compare their earliest work to their later work, you would notice it seems like several entirley different bands. This evolution of the band is what kept people always waiting for what they would come out with next.
