John Lennon formed the Quarrymen Skiffle Group in 1957 when he was 17 and that same year he met Paul McCartney (15 years old) who turned the group into more of a rock n' roll group. So the Quarrymen got rid of some useless members like a banjo player or a tea chest bass player and Paul McCartney introduced John Lennon to a 14 year old named George Harrison who played the guitar. John decided George was too young for the band so he didnt let him join until he turned 15. Then they lost all of their members except for John, George, and Paul on guitar. Years later they got Pete Best on drums and Stuart Sutcliffe on bass. But Stuart Sutcliffe died so Paul McCartney took up the job as bass player and Pete Best was fired and replaced with Ringo Starr. That made the final lineup. John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr.
