In little League thru High School, most batters are right handed as well. A left handed catcher will not have near as much success throwing the ball to second on a steal. Also, since most catchers are right handed, most pitchers are disoriented by a left handed catcher therefore coaches will discourage lefties from pursuing the position.

That is a hard question to answer without LOTS of research. Truth is, Lennon and McCartney are responsible for teaming up on most of the songs that the Beatles recorded. There has to be hundreds of them!!!
Paul readily said in an interview which ones belonged to who. He would say "That one was John's, or that was mine." The one who sings it, is a good indication of who's is who's. They would put both their names on the songs. Yesterday for instance was a McCartney song. He literally woke up out of a dream with the song in his head, and went right to the piano. The working title was "Scrambled Eggs", in G, until he came up with "Yesterday".

Doors, stones, cream, iron butterfly, Jeff. airplane I believe were all pre beatles as well as Elvis. Actually, not a single one of those was pre-Beatles except Elvis, who wasn't really a group. All those groups above came after the Beatles, well after. The biggest rock groups before the Beatles were Bill Haley and His Comets, Gene Vincent and the Blu-Kaps, Buddy Holly and the Crickets, and the Beach Boys. Please, get it right!

One of them is Stevie Wonder. I'm a student doing a project on him and the song. It's called Ebony and Ivory. It's a great song. You should check it out on youtube. it has a great meaning too. It's about how black and white people can live together in harmony like the black and white piano keys can play in harmony.Asked by Wiki User

Originally, he simply turned the guitar around and restrung it himself. That meant, of course, that the pick guard on the guitar was upside-down. As Paul acquired more money, he could afford to go in search of left-handed guitars that suited his fancy.

To give the peace movement a fresh anthem. The song was credited to Lennon/McCartney, but Paul McCartney had nothing to do with writing the song; Lennon shared the credit because of the handshake deal they had made when they started collaborating. He said later "it should have been Lennon/Ono".
Guest performers on "Give Peace A Chance" (recorded live in their Montreal hotel suite) were comedian Tommy Smothers, Beatles publicist Derek Taylor, intellectual Timothy Leary and his wife Rosemary, author Norman Mailer, and the Montreal chapter of the Hare Krishnas. All were collectively credited as the "Plastic Ono Band".
- To above poster; Paul McCartney actually met up with John Lennon post-breakup as a friend, Not a business partner. He assisted john with the Writing of the Song.
