The aborigines had rich and full lives. Their days were spent hunting or gathering food; cooking and preparing the food; passing down stories of their culture to younger members; preparing and presenting corroborees and initiation ceremonies; going on "walkabout"; moving around in search of better food sources; singing and playing and generally enjoying life.
The hunter-gatherer lifestyle doesn't allow for a lot of free time. Most of the time you would spend looking for food, or eating. And moving camp frequently. Older members of the tribe would also supervise children and teach them.
You could still talk and interact with others while doing these things of course.
At night, people would tell each other stories, perform ceremonies, and do all the other things people do at night.
aborigines survived by hunting animals such as wallabies and kangaroos and also fished and cooked them on a fire
