people hypothesized that the gravity of an unseen planet was affecting Uranus orbit. by 1846, mathematical in England and France had calculated the orbit of this unseen planet. shortly thereafter an observer saw and unknown object in the predicted area of the sky. It was Neptune
because after they saw the first few planets the gravitational pull between led them to think there was another planet
It was in the 1840s that two scientists, Adams (British) and Le Verrier (French) used observations of Uranus to show this its orbit was not exactly where it should be, and from that they calculated independently that there must be another outer planet, and where it would be.
Adams finished first and sent his calculations to the Astronomer Royal, Airy, who put them in a drawer and forgot about them. So it was Le Verrier who took the credit for the discovery. But Adams was allowed to share it.
idk maybe because well i quess i just dont kno srry cuz i need it for hmwk too
They discovered Neptune in 1846, by examining the orbits of the other gas giant planets, particulary Uranus. Its slight deviation in orbit was as a result of neptunes gravitational effect.
Neptune. Uranus can be seen with the naked eye, but it has to be perfect viewing conditions and you have to know where to look, otherwise it will look just like another star.
Neptune.Uranus can be seen with the naked eye, but it has to be near perfect conditions and you have to know exactly where to look as it will just look like a dim star.
have any satellite or robots look-up close to neptune
As astronaut travels into outer space and some have been killed doing so. Most astronomers stay on the planet Earth and look up into space. There have been astronauts who are astronomers, but, most astronomers are not astronauts. There have been tens of millions of astronomers looking up at outer space, but, only a few hundred astronauts. No, they are not the same.
Neptune. Because of the accidental discovery of Uranus, it was calculated that a larger body had to have been disrupting it's orbit. A comet, asteroid and star were ruled out as the cause of a disruption because they were incapable of staying in such a regular motion around the sun. Therefore the body had to be a planet. Using the obervational information from Uranus' disruptions it was calculated where Neptune should be at any one time.
Astronomers had noticed unexpected changes in the orbit of Uranus: the only explanation was another planet. Detailed study of the orbit of Uranus led to estimates about the size and location of Neptune.
From calculations based on the orbits of other planets. There was obviously something influencing the orbit of Uranus.
Yes. Typically one looks to the sky to view Neptune.

charts.. other stars...
Neptune doesn't have a solid surface.!
i dont know look it up :D , jacey ella
You can get binoculars or a telescope capable of seeing Neptune for $20. The tricks are to hold it steady enough, and know where to look.
Yes, Neptune is real. You can see it with a telescope if you know where to look.

Astrologers look at stars and predict events according to what they see. They are different from astronomers because astronomers have a scientific basis, while astronomers do not.
You would look like a corpse. Life cannot be supported on Neptune.
