Women weren't allowed to ride a bicycle. It was considered indecent to ride. Women in the early 1900's weren't allowed to wear pants nor show their ankles. With the type of clothing women wore with long skirts and corsets it was hard to get on an early bike as well. One enterprising bicycle maker made a tricycle for women to ride in places like a park or in their backyard. Women were required to maintain a certain level of proper behavior at all times.

Does not answer the question, also confuses the issue by introducing the idea that corsets were restrictive, an idea spread by Hollywood films.

Can you loose virginity by riding horses?

You can break your hymen during horseback riding in much the same way as you can break it during a bike ride or any other activity where you may have to part your legs to straddle an object , such as a saddle, bicycle, balance beam etc. Many girls and women do not realize they have broken the hymen until they see a small amount of blood, though some will feel a bit of pain.

How does riding a bicycle affect sexual functions?

None.Virginity is about if a person has had sex or not and riding a bicycle - nice as it may be - is not considered as having sex.Bicycling - as most forms of exercise - mayhave an effect on the hymen - if you insist on believing that such a untrustworthy anatomical indicator holds any value.
