Coming together in a community helped early humans because they could work together and share jobs, kind of like you going to work. If you had to get your food, water, and whatever else you need every day for you and your family, would you have time to do anything else? Humans in the Neolithic age specialized in one thing, like farming, basket weaving, clothing making, and many other jobs. A farmer would probably share his/her food with a clothing maker, and a clothing maker shared his/her clothing with a farmer. They started to trade, kind of like us buying things from a store, with other communities. Traders loaded up on donkeys and traveled thousands of miles to find a community that would trade. They traded mostly obsidian, wood, flint, metals, and other. With trading and working together, they had time to make a spoken language. The hominids/ early EARLY humans that came before them couldn't talk. Could you think of life without these key things?

This is an opinion and not based on factual information. I believe that humans are socialistic creatures by nature. People began coming together because it was easier to survive, both for protection and the basic needs like food and shelter.
