Dolla died from gun shot wounds to the back of his head and his chest. He had gotten in an altercation with a man shortly after he arrived in Los Angeles to go shopping. He was shopping for clothes for not just himself, but for his newest video he was planning on shooting when he returned to his native Atlanta.
The man claimed that Dolla had tried to speak to his girlfriend, and he denied ever doing such. Well the man and him argued for a while where to as from other reports they say that Dolla actually punched the man in the face before being rushed off by bodyguards and close friends.
Later, Dolla came out of the mall and went to go look for his car [where he had had it valet parked that day], and that's when the same guy snuck up behind him and shot him in the back of the head and then when Dolla fell he shot him in the chest and ran.
