Yes very much so. They actually saw us as a country for the first time.
In the 18th into the 19th centuries, the French Revolution affected other nations both directly and indirectly. Directly, the Revolution created military conflict between France and other nations throughout Europe and beyond. Indirectly, the ideas and actions of the Revolutionists inspired similar movements elsewhere in Europe (and in the world).

France was the most prolific ally to the American Revolution contributing money and selling ammunitions necessary to fund a war. In addition, Spain and Holland both provided the patriots assistance with financial loans.
The American revolution was catastrophic to the Native American nations that were caught in the middle. They lost land, crops, and people as the two countries fought each other.

um... If you mean "what effects did the American Revolution have on other nations", then the answer would be What effect DIDN'T the American Revolution have on other nations? England lost one of their greatest colonies, the French colonists gained enough courage and allies to have their own Revolution, America was born, allowing everything America has done to come to pass. It allowed the Civil War to happen, it greatly changed the outcome of WWI and WWII, and allowed us to explore the land west of the Appalachian Mountains, allowing us to form a Manifest Destiny, it allowed Canada and Mexico to become their own independent nations... I could go on, but I don't think I have to... This question was utterly pointless.

The American Revolution inspired many other revolutions such as the Haitian Revolution and the French Revolution. The American Revolution showed that Revolutions could be started and ended with a good outcome. So the Haitians, Latins, French, and a bunch of other countries revolted.
