He freed his mind from everyone around him and traded his clothes for a cloth to be free while tryig to find The Secret of Life. He decided to suffer by starving himself for 5-6 years. He began to have flashbacks of his past, then knew the secret of life, and that he shouldn't starve himself. He began to eat again and went back home to share what he had learned.
