There were wars between the Yuchi and Cherokee tribes, the Yuchi were moved with the Cherokee to Oklahoma and there is a great possibility that some Cherokee still live on the Yuchi lands, although there is nothing officially documented.

there are some food like fruits and some vegetable that you do not need to cook,but some food like non veg ,it will be harm free by cooking.because some of the food we can't eat raw so we have to perfactly cook the food before going to eat.
You should cook some of their native food such as rice or corn.
