Actually, Earth's land is in a constant state of motion and the crust is "breaking apart." Continents and groups of continents are actually on Continental Plates, which may be thought of floating around on the surface of the Earth. Some plates are separating (breaking apart) and some are colliding. Additionally, superficially, cracks occur in the superficial plates, and there cracks can open, or slide past each other. Finally, ice, technically being a mineral, or a rock, depending on how it has formed can open into deep crevasses and valleys; in this way too, the Earth's land breaks apart.
Well, at first the world formed Pangea, all one land. But then the Continential Drift took place, lasting over millions of years and then Pangea was split. Now we have our seven continents.
The inner core of the Earth is believed to be at a temperature of about 5700 degrees C. This is caused mainly by radioactivity, but maybe a small bit of gravitation compression as well. The next layer out is only a slightly lower temperature - but is molten (remember volcanoes), or at least somewhat liquid.
These deeper layers are made of denser rocks, and on top of them float some lighter rock assemblies - the continents.
The convection forces in the liquid layers move the floating continents around - in patterns that we don't yet understand. This is called Plate Tectonics. Occasionally (in geological terms), these floating bodies join together - the last time was about 250 Mya (million years ago). Folk have given the name Pangaea to this super continent. It gradually broke up, first into two major parts, then into more fragments - the lands and continents of our present Earth.
This pattern has believed to have happened at least two other times in the history of the Earth. And the process continues.
earth break apart by hheat convection down below the core

the earth will split on 2020!
It is called a meteorite if it lands on the Earth's surface.
Density is responsible for determining how Earth materials separate out into interior layers.

Polar lands are located at the northern and southern points of the earth. There are 2 regions of Earth; The Artic Circle and the Antarctic Circle.
It is called a meteorite.

geologist
The capsule on the tip of the rocket detaches when it leaves the atmosphere of earth, lands on the moon, then the capsule blasts off the moon and lands in the ocean in a "splashdown".
You can find polar lands north of 60 degrees N and south of 60 degrees S on Earth.
Tierras = lands, countries, or worlds depending on the context.
There are many lands in Texas which are used for ranches. So this lands are needed to separate so different kinds division is used.Such as giving fences.
