The Lend-Lease act was a law passed in 1941 which allowed the United States to ship war materials and supplies to the Allied powers during World War 2. The act allowed for considerable U.S. involvement in the war on the side of the Allies while still being able to not completely enter the war and commit the United States How_did_the_lend_lease_act_help_the_allied_powersto the conflict. A large amount of much needed supplies were therefore shipped to the Allied powers supplying them with ammunition, vehicles, and other supplies. Also, although the United States entered the war in 1941, it took a considerable amount of time to mobilize United States' forces and most of the battles through 1942 fell on the forces of the other Allied powers. The Lend-Lease act allowed the United States to stay active in supporting the other Allies while mobilizing its troops.
