The agricultural revolution led to increased food production and economic stability, contributing to lower mortality rates and increased life expectancy in the pre-industrial stage. During the industrial stage, advancements in agriculture allowed for growing urban populations and better nutrition. In the post-industrial stage, mechanization and technological advancements in agriculture have led to decreased birth rates due to smaller family sizes and decreased reliance on manual labor.

Demographic segmentation based on age involves categorizing consumers into different age groups, such as teenagers, young adults, middle-aged adults, and seniors. How did an agricultural revolution contribute to population. growth?

Well, first there are in history more than one agricultural revolutions (the neolithic one, the industrialization of agriculture revolution or the green revolution in the 40's till' the 70's). The result from each and every one of these rev. was inevitably a population growth but the particular motives are different from century to century. For example in the neolithic period (around 10000 years BC) the agricultural revolution meant the transition from the hunter-gatherer society to the agricultural one. Agriculture being a more stable source of food resulted in fixed settlements, which meant more security and more food which resulted in, not only a population growth but also a cultural development. The later revolutions resulted in more food, more food meant a drop in infancy Death Rate, a rise in life expectancy rate and of course a rise in Birth Rate vs. death rate which meant of course => population growth (especially in countries in the developing world).
