What effect did the USSR have on the United States decision to drop the atomic bombs on Japan?

None whatsoever. Michael Montagne The bombing of Japan with the atomic bomb served as a signal to the USSR that the US not only had the bomb, but that the US government was also crazy enough the use it. Simply having the bomb and ending the war - the Japanese had been offering to surrender for months before the bombing -- would have left the possibility open that the US would not use the bomb, but just bluff with it.

Is the atomic bomb a myth or is it just Chuck Norris?

If Chuck Norris exploded there would be nothing left in the universe

Why did Einstein cry when the US had thrown nuclear bomb on Japan?

I don't know for sure that he cried or not, but if he did, it was because of two reasons. First, it was Einstein who had sent a letter to the us president implying to build an atomic bomb to defend the world against the Nazis who were working on completing their nuclear bomb at that time. Two months after sending that letter though, Germany surrendered and left the Americans with the first atomic bomb to be built, and that was then ready to be tested. Unfortunately, USA found Japan a convenient country to test the bomb on because it wanted to see the actual effect of it. Second, Einstein was simply the one who derived the equation ENERGY = MASS X (SPEED OF LIGHT) SQUARED, the one responsible to the reaction in an atomic bomb.

Did anybody survive the Hiroshima's atomic bomb?

Yes. About 172,000.The cities population was about 340,000 in 1945. When the atomic bomb exploded over Hiroshima the death toll came to 168,000.Note: I visited the Atomic Bomb Memorial site in Hiroshima. It is a very sobering experience of what the atomic bomb can do. There is hardly anything left standing in the city at the epicenter of the explosion. People were completely vaporized. Many people died in the explosion, but 10,000's more died afterward because of radiation caused infections.

Where did the US drop the atomic bomb in ww1?

It didn't. Wrong war. It wasn't invented until WWII.In WW2 however the atomic bomb was dropped on two cities from japan; first on Hiroshima, then a second dropped on Nagasaki when japan didn't surrender after the first atomic bomb.Japan was given no opportunity to surrender after the first atomic bomb. Truman's order to use the atomic bomb authorized use as they became available. The only reason Japan had a chance to surrender after the second and before the third atomic bomb was the third was still being prepared and crated for shipment at Los Alamos. Had Japan not surrendered the third atomic bomb would have left San Francisco on a B-29 on August 18 and probably been dropped between August 25 to August 28.There were another 20 more atomic bombs scheduled for production & delivery on Japan from September through December of 1945.

we could have kept the bomb a secretusing the bomb led to the arms raceand the bomb left behind massive loads of radiationWrongthe secret had already been handed to the USSR by spysthe seeds of the arms race already existed, it would have happened without nuclear weapons
