There was lots of affecting. If you can't have the people to do the polotics, then you cannot have the politics. That is at least the obvious part. The Black Death also affected the political system as well as the educational system and social develpment.

The plague effected the economic structure of Europe in two ways. First it caused a decrease in the number of people able to purchase goods (either because of illness or death). While it was effecting the consumer side, the production of goods was also slowing down, primely because the number of workers decreased, but also because there was no one to sell goods to. The economy of Europe shrunk, drastically, to a point where it could be sustained by the number of people, both on the production and consumer side, who survived the plague.

it both harmed and helped Europe. the black death killed off about 1/3 of Europe's population in two years and also brought knowledge from other countries to Europe. With the population smaller Europe's government thrived. there were a lot more jobs and people could make more money on what they sold. the black death also brought on the Renaissance.
