The character underwent a transformation from being closed-off and selfish to being more open and empathetic towards others. Through the events of the story, the character learned the importance of compassion and friendship, ultimately leading to personal growth and understanding.
Flat
The dynamic elements of a character, is when the character's personality changes by the end of the story. Like in a Christmas Carol, when ebeneezer scrooge is mean and selfish at the beginning, but then at the end he is nice and giving. The static elements of a character, is when the character's personality does not change through the story.
A static character remains the same throughout the story, with their beliefs and traits remaining constant. In contrast, a dynamic character undergoes significant internal change or development as a result of the events in the story.
I think you are referring to a 'dynamic' character as opposed to a 'static' one. Dynamic characters grow and change as the story progresses whereas static characters are the ones that stay (sometimes stubbornly) constant. Main characters are often dynamic, especially when there is a lesson to be learned.
Static Character- is when the character has the same personality as of in the beginning and of a movie, story, novel, book or etc. Dynamic- is when the character has different personalities throughout the beginning and end of a movie, story, novel, book or etc.
A round character is a character who changes throughout the story. Let's say at the beginning he was afraid but at the end he faced his fears. That is the definition to round character.A flat character is one who doesn't change. He comes at the 2nd chapter then leaves then comes back at 6th chapter but didn't change at all.The main character in a story is almost always a round character; that character develops as the story progresses.
how did anna's personality and character change from the beginning to the end of the story
Martin Avdeitch is a dynamic character because he undergo an important change in the course of the story through his realization at the end of the story that God is always there for him. Moreover, I conclude that Martin Avdeitch is a dynamic character because if he's a static character in the story he does not undergo important change in the course of the story, remaining essentially the same at the end as he was at the beginning. ~> genelyn_198920@yahoo.com see yah at facebook 4 some comments.. tnx!
The static character in "Stop the Sun" by Gary Paulsen is Terry's father. Throughout the story, he struggles with his experiences in the Vietnam War and his inability to communicate his feelings and memories to his family, which doesn't change from the beginning to the end of the story.
Character's feeling and behavior- they might change their opinion or behavior about something. The main character's situation- they may be in better (or worse) situation at the end than at the beginning. Also, the way you feel about the character changes over the course of the story.
