Hardly. So hard, capitalism still is scared by communism.
Russia was never Communist. The USSR was state capitalist.
A state capitalist system with a dictatorial government.
Communism obviously!
Set up a state capitalist dictatorship.
Communism didn't last in Russia because Stalin had a warped idea of communism. It failed because it never was true communism, but was always corrupted. I believe it was not communism in the USSR, but more of a deadly mix of Socialism and Totalitarianism.
Russia is a democratic country of sorts. It is no longer a communist country, meaning it is no longer a country controlled by the Communist Party. Russia, never was a communist country as Karl Marx described communism. In fact, there has never been a true Marxian communist country.
Russia was state capitalist and controlled other eastern European state capitalist countries. They had no connection at all with Communism (a classless stateless society based on production for use).
Hitler's society was capitalist, thus it was very different to communism. He was also a social Darwinist and his beliefs opposed those of communism. Hitler also attacked Russia when they had (supposedly) a communist society ruled by Joseph Stalin and took over many parts of Europe, thus forcing his capitalist ideas upon the people he had overpowered.
Communism means a classless stateless society based on production for use. Clearly no country became Communist after WW1, and Communism will have to exist at a global level anyway. Russia became state capitalist.
In 1946, Russia was state capitalist. Most people had to work for a wage, and the state owned the means of production. Communism means the abolition of the wages system and establishment of a classless society.
Communism is a classless stateless society based on production for use, and would have to be a worldwide system. The Bolsheviks established a state capitalist system in Russia.
Because Germany was spilt into 4 at the end of ww2 us UK ussr & France. The soviets made their land communism and the rest made theirs capitalism. The soviets made a wall as part of their containment to keep capitalist influence out.
