Naked DSL features the accessiblity of local loop DSL internet service without the option to use a dial tone telephone service at the same time. In normal DSL the cable is split into these two components. However, with Naked DSL, normal telephone service is available only through the internet service.
i believe the answer is to find a good strong spoon, jam it in the nearest person to you, and be back in time for tea
There are several types of telephones. If we limit our discussion to home phones you have what is called in the industry a Plain Old Telephone Set (POTS). This is a single line phone that has two wires that connect to your Telephone Company's Central Office. These wires are designated Tip and Ring after the old time switchboard based systems. When you go "Off Hook" on your POTS the line card at the Central Office puts dial tone on the wires connected to your telephone set. You then use the dial pad or old time rotary dial to input your desired number. The line card monitors your dialing and when it has enough digits it tries to connect you to that number through a potentially vast telephone network. When the call is completed the person you called is connected to the handset through amplifiers and you can talk and listen via the handset.
Unscrew the side dial and then pull out. Change time as needed!
The main difference between dial-up and broadband Internet connectivity, lies in the speed of access granted. The broadband option is quite the opposite of dial-up technology with regards to the time taken to access telephone connection, protocol synchronization and data transfer.
Its a matter of daily practice, this task depends upon your practice. I think a man who used this vintage telephone sets also had a grip on dialing , He maybe take 15-20 seconds to dial this number. Otherwise if someone new guy may take several minutes to handle this type of set. because the number 9 take more time then 8, similarly 8 take more time than 7 in the same way 0 will takes the least time .
You don't. The laptop has to connect to the internet separately, either directly through a telephone line (for dial-up service) or a broadband DSL/satellite/cable modem. If you want to connect both machines at the same time, you need a router between the modem and the two machines. (NOTE: this cannot be done with a single telephone line, only with broadband)
It depends...If it is a digital watch look at your book. If it is a nice watch, pull out the dial and turn...
Dial up is slow and can be expensive if you use it for long periods of time.
