the Aryan culture became mixed. the new ideas became part of the Vedas.
That is true to some extent. The later books of RigVeda (Book 1 and Book 10) contain influences of interaction with Hinduism. But the other way round is more correct - that the Vedas and Aryan culture became a part of hinduism.
As Aryan culture mixed with with India's existing cultures new ideas and beliefs became part of the Vedas. From this blending of ideas and beliefs came one of the worlds oldest living religions, Hinduism.
They growed into that slowly over time..
It is a common misconception. Aryan religion did not grow into hinduism. Hinduism is the indigenous belief of people who lived here, Aboriginals and Dravidians. Aryan religion merged into it and modified it.
Hinduism grew from Brahmanism, religion of the aryas. as time passed Brahmanism began to accept many of the values of different religions and cultures, the wider and more detailed version of Brahmanism is known as Hinduism.

Hinduism keeps unity in society. The living proof is India itself, where being 80% of the population it lets other religion to grow. where any chief office can be held by non-Hindu. Its a religion which never promoted conversions. Which acknowledges all the religions and faiths. Its the religion which never claim as the only way to eternity. being Hindu one can be atheist too. No other religion can offer that much of freedom.
Hinduism believe in complete individual freedom of any Karma (action), never should say my philosophy is the best.
