It affected where people settled because you can drink that water, bathe in it and get fish out of it. It also affected where they settled because those are the resorses they needed to survive! I am also 11 yay twins!!

well Sargon (the first ruler of the Akkadians Empire) used water to keep trespassers away from the people and kingdom. he used the topography to he destroyed walls to make it harder for people to rebel. and lastly he used vegetation to feed the people.
