The Tasmanian devil is a carnivorous marsupial. It is at the top of the food chain.
Being a dasyurid, or carnivorous marsupial, the Tasmanian Devil is at the top of the food chain.
The Tasmanian devil is at the top of the food chain, so it does not have enemies which "strike".
The Tasmanian Devil (Sarcophilus harrisii), a carnivorous marsupial native to Tasmania, was once widespread on the Australian mainland. It is thought that the arrival of the Dingo and possibly climate change at the end of the last ice age, may have contributed to its extinction on the mainland. The dingo proved to be a bigger, stronger competitor, and there is strong evidence that its presence wiped out the Tasmanian devil's relative, the Thylacine (or Tasmanian tiger) from the mainland so there is every chance it had the same effect on the Tasmanian devil. As for climate change - it possibly reduced the food sources for the Tasmanian devil. There remains more bushy undergrowth, and thick rainforest for the Tasmanian devil's food to hide in on the island of Tasmania.
No.. the Tasmanian devil is simply just an animal in the regular food chain... Humans... however at the top of the food chain... which means humans should not be scared of tasmainian devils

Tasmanian devils, being carnivorous marsupials (dasyurids) are at the top of the food chain, so in their native habitat they have no natural predators.Up until around 600 years ago, there were Tasmanian devils on mainland Australia. Whilst both Tasmanian devils and dingoes are at the top of the food chain, the bigger, stronger dingo dominated in the competition for food, resulting in the extinction of the Tasmanian devil from the mainland. It is also quite conceivable that the indigenous people ate them.
With the prices they charge and the hypnotic effect they hold over people to drink their expensive coffee - they MUST be the Devil.
they didn't both were at the top of the food chain
The dingo is believed to have been a major cause of the extinction of both the Tasmanian devil and the Thylacine from the Australian mainland.
