The fall of the western part of the Roman Empire did not directly lead to feudalism. It emerged some 350 years after the fall of this part of this empire. He was a result of the continuous warfare which characterised the Carolingian Empire (800-843).
Europe could never have invaded Rome. For a start Europe is a continent, not a people. Moreover, Rome was |(and still is) in Europe. Rome was, however, invaded by other peoples of Europe throughout its existence. There were dozens of these invasions, some more successful than others.
This was a way to govern in Europe and as well as Japan and China and other places.
because
it depends because the Roman Empire suffered many invasions which were repelled invaded many times by many peoples over the course of three centuries before the final invasions which led to he fall of the western part of this empire. Many were raids for looting and ravaging. Invasions by the Huns in the eastern part of the empire were carried out to extract a tribute from the Romans. The Huns tired to invade Gaul and then Italy because their king, Attila, wanted to take over the western part of the Roman Empire. The Persians were part of centuries of wars over territorial disputes in which both the Romans and the Persians invaded, but did not retain, each other's territories. Some invasions were by peoples who were in search of new lands. The invasions which led to the fall of the western part of the Roman Empire were by peoples in search of new lands. They were the result of the migration period. Peoples from Scandinavia and northern Germany migrated southwards. This squeezed the lands of the peoples who lived in Central Europe. This led to the Alemanni of southern Germany taking over Switzerland, which was part of the Empire.T he invasions of Eastern Europe by the Huns (who came from Asia) added to this squeeze. The Vandals, Sueves and Alans invaded Gaul and moved to Hispania (Spain and Portugal). The Vandals and Alans went on to take over northwestern Africa. The Burgundians took over eastern Gaul. Peoples from northern Germany ands migated in search for new lands. The Angles, Saxons and Jutes, and the north of the Netherlands migrated to Britannia in waves and took it over
Culturally, Eastern Europe is Eastern Europe. There are other regions in Eastern Europe, however. There is the Balkans, the Meditteranean, the Middle Eastern, the Caucus, the Northern, the Central, etc.

The Germanic peoples who invaded the western part of the Roman Empire where migrating peoples who were looking for new lands to settle in because of a population squeeze in central Europe. The eastern part of the Roman Empire was not affected by these invasions.
There is not an ethic tribe most western Europeans descend from. The ethnic composition of Europe has always been complex. The most widespread ethic group was the Celts who lived in central Europe, Britain, France, part of Spain, and in northern Italy. However, large scale migrations and invasions led to an ethic mixing of the peoples of these areas and the Celts were often taken over and absorbed by other peoples. The peoples of northwestern Europe descend from a couple of dozens of Germanic peoples. Germanic is a term which refers to the speakers of Germanic languages. These languages have evolved into modern German, English, Dutch, Danish, Norwegian and Swedish. In central Europe and Britain, the Germanic peoples took over and absorbed the original Celtic peoples, except for Scotland, Wales and Brittany. The peoples of France and part of Spain descend from Celts. However, they became Latinised under Roman rule through Roman immigration. Other Spaniards and the Portuguese descend from a mixture of Iberian peoples who also became Latinised under the Romans by the same process. In northern Italy people descend from Latinised Gauls. In other parts of Italy, they descend from a mix of Latinised Italic peoples, such as the Ligurians, the Umbo-Oscans, Etruscans and many others. Some people in these areas of Europe descend from Germanic invaders who become the ruling class of these areas for a number of centuries.Over the centuries, there were further migrations and ethic mixing. In short, the peoples of Europe descend from an ethic mix of various peoples, or, if you want to look back very, very far you could say that western Europeans, and eastern Europeans and the natives of northern India, and others are all descended from the group we now call the Indo-Europeans.
The date of the invasion of Gaul might suggest that the arrival of the Huns in eastern Europe and the Hungarian Great Plain might have created a population squeeze in northern and central Europe. which led to some peoples to invade Gaul in search of new lands to settle due to. Eventually, the Vandals and Alans settled in Tunisia, the Sueves in north-western Spain, the Burgundians in eastern France. The Alemanni took over Switzerland and north-eastern France (Alsace and Lorraine). The Angles, Saxons, Jutes and Frisians migrating to England in waves and taking it over at a later time suggests that there probably was a population squeeze in northern Germany, too.
In most places the bottom level of the feudal pyramid was occupied by serfs and other laborers. In a few parts of Europe, there were slaves, but slavery was not usually legal, and serfs were not slaves. Serfs were not entirely free, but did have important rights. There is an link below to an article on serfdom.
