Aloha:
In 1887 the Bayonet Constitution was forced by armed Caucasians. The new constitution made voting rights only for Hawaiians, Americans, and Europeans this denied the rights for Japanese and other groups. The Japanese commissioner worked to pressure the Kingdom to restore the rights of Japanese by amending the constitution. In 1893 the Hawaiian Monarchy was overthrown.
Continued presence of the Japanese Navy and Japan's opposition to the overthrow led to a concern that Japan might use military force to restore a queen, Liliʻuokalani, to her throne. Anti-Japanese sentiment developed amongst the annexationist government, press, and Americans over concerns that Japan might reverse their progress to annex Hawaii to the United States.
In the 1890s, worrying about the increasing Americanization of their US-born children, the Japanese set up the first Japanese schools in the United States.
In Hawaii, Japanese is a major language, spoken and studied by many of the state's residents across ethnicities. It is taught in private Japanese language schools as early as the second grade. As a courtesy to the large number of Japanese tourists (from Japan), Japanese subtexts are provided on place signs, public transportation, and civic facilities. The Hawaii media market has a few locally produced Japanese language newspapers and magazines, but these are dying out, due to lack of interest on the part of the local (Hawaii-born) Japanese population. Stores that cater to the tourist industry often have Japanese-speaking personnel.
To show their allegiance to the U.S., many Nisei and Sansei intentionally avoided learning Japanese. But as many of the later generations find their identities in both Japan and America, studying Japanese is becoming more popular than it once was. Once as high as 43%, the Japanese population now is around 17%.
They all had babies and large farmland
It is called "Zaibatsu".
population at large
Because of the large Japanese population in the west coast states such as California
Japanese were interned in WW2 not WW1. German & Austria-Hungarian citizens were interned in WW1. German & Italian citizens were interned in WW2. It is a common international practice to intern the citizens of enemy nations during times of war. The real question was if American citizens of Japanese ancestry (or Japanese citizens with US 'green cards') should be interned by the American government because of the threat of disloyality. The US government believed that the Japanese-American population was more likely to be disloyal than the German-American or Italian-American population. Also these others were much too large to intern.
The answer is far broader than can be covered here, or in several books on the subject. WW II almost destroyed Japan, killed a large part of the Japanese population, and forced changes in their government.
If you look at the demographics of the Japanese people it is most likely that the population will be in decline in the future. Tokyo is currently the world's largest city in terms of population and a large percentage of the population is advancing in age to the point where it will be very difficult for Tokyo to grow in population.
The British local government system and the Nigerian local government system exist they both maintain a large population. Both countries recognized the economic advantages of having a large amount of land.
One problem that the new federal government faced was that the large population was very hard to manage. The new federal government also had problems with jobs.
Vancouver is a very diverse city, from a cultural and nationality perspective. There is a very large Asian ( Chinese/Japanese/Korean/Vietnamese/Filipino) population in Metro Vancouver-- the second largest Asian population in North America is in Vancouver. There is also a large and thriving East Indian population, and some citizens that are of Caribbean or African descent. There are a lot of Europeans in Vancouver, as well as a large Aboriginal population.

Brazil has a large amount of Japanese immigrants.
