∙ 12y agonot well.....they were arrested on many occasions. Unfortunately the suffragettes went on hunger strikes and had to be brutally force fed,until the 'Cat & Mouse Act' was introduced.

∙ 14y agoThey put them in prison and some were even hung. When they were in prison some went on hunger strike but they were force fed so that it wouldn't give the government a bad name.
