At the age of 18, the Founder & CEO of 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, Brian Scudamore, was in a McDonald's restaurant when he saw an old junk truck rumbling through the drive-thru. He was struck by the idea that he could do that, and a lot more professionally, than the truck he'd just seen. The next day he invested all the money he had - $700 - in a truck and started up a student junk-hauling business. Over the next few years, as the Rubbish Boys, the business grew. Within 10 years he decided to franchise and searched for the right name. At the time, the "got-milk?" ads were really big and he liked the idea of 1-800-GOT-JUNK?. Turned out the number was owned by the Idaho Department of Transportation but was not in use. He asked for permission for the number and the rest is history. Brian was the first person to professionalize the fragmented Mom&Pop shop-style junk removal business.

Hey, you've reached the (your last name). We can't come to the phone right now, so leave a message after the beep. Thanks.
That depends on several things. In America, the first name is placed first and then the middle and last name follow. My name, for example, is Donna Lee Halper (or just Donna Halper, or Donna L. Halper). But in some Asian countries, like China and Korea, the last name comes first. So, the woman who is the President of South Korea is Park Geun-hye; her last name comes first, and she would be referred to as President Park. Back to English, and this is also the same rule for languages like French, Spanish, and Italian. Under normal circumstances, it's your first name, sometimes your middle name or middle initial, and then your last name. But there are some exceptions, most notably in research papers when you are writing your bibliography. Bibliographies require last name and first name, separated by a comma. So, my bibliographic entry would be Halper, Donna Lee (or Halper, Donna L.).
no idea but that's my first name. coolness
I'm pretty sure Walt never came up with the idea for his own last name.
