The people of Russia were tired of being under the control of one ruler (czar). The ideas of Socialism, communism, and Marzism inspired them to think of other ways of government. This probably made them rebel, and turn to Lenin who promised them a better future. But it all began with the ideas of Karl Marx. In the end, Communism wasn't a good path for Russia to take. I hope this helps=)

Karl Marx's ideas on class struggle, revolution, and the overthrow of capitalism provided a theoretical framework for the Bolsheviks to mobilize support and seize power during the Russian Revolution. The Bolsheviks, led by Vladimir Lenin, believed in Marx's vision of a proletarian revolution and used it as a blueprint for their own revolutionary activities in Russia. Marx's ideas also influenced the Bolsheviks' approach to social and economic policies following their victory in 1917.

Why did Russian Revolution happen?

After the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution, Russia changed dramatically for one fundamental reason: the new leaders of the nation, the Communists, had vastly different ideas about governing and about social arrangements than the monarchical rulers who had been overthrown. Following the vision of Karl Marx (with some additions or revisions of their own), the Russian Communists rebuilt society along Communistic lines.
