How did the leaders of World War 2 feel about each other personally?

Personalities of WWIIDuring the early 30s most of the British media belived Hittler was a good thing, he belived in his people and and made a lot of efort in making life better for them ie jobs for every one. This must have been an eye oppener for Churchill as the British poor got sod all. There must have been a lot of mistrust between them, however during 1939 when the British forces where pushed back to Dunkurk Hittler orderd his tanks to stop when they could have destroyed the British army. It is belived he did this because his army was well behind his tanks and they didnt have enough support, however new documentation may sugest Hittler stopped his tanks from destroying the British army in his belief that German and British forces could join up and fight the USSR, after all the Germans and the British have the same ancestory and originated from the same Anglo-Saxon tribes, this may sugest an admeration for the British from Hittler, maybe including Churchill
