Harappa was destroyed under the British Raj, and bricks from the city were used for a road. Mohenjo-Daro was abandoned by its residents 1100 years after it was built, and eroded due to weathering.

The Harappan and Mohenjo came to an end due to the invasion of aryans. Aryans attacked many of the North west sides of India to form their kingdom. More over the aryans are the first persons to use iron and stell weapons for war.

Other facts like Ocean overflow and some other parts of nations who wished to expand their kingdom may also be one of the reasons to put an end to Harappan and Mohenjo Daro.
