there feet used to rot and catch all maggots and bugs inside them.
the bugs used to craw into the head and lay eggs
people were too poor to get shampoo (since it wasnt invented ha!) well not tidy.
they used to bath in dirty water (the poor people) and more lice used to get into the hair and leave bacteria and germs
