During ww1 or ww2 i dont remember the english, to cover up there invention of radars, let out that all the pilots started eating carrots to get better eye sight.

Where I live the police would be coming after the parents if it's pure laziness. If the child is bullied etc there would be a investigation since the schools are legally obligated to sort these things out and offer the student a education. I know some parents think that "school never did anything for me" but that is no excuse to not letting your children get a education. (I am a child) I believe that this shows a good sign of a relationship. Parents who trust in their kids to listen usually do this. Sadly, some parents do not have adult friends that can relate to them. Another thing is that parents are human, so sometimes they have to vent and have tantrums just as children do. Whenever you are being lectured to and the conversation usually goes to mistakes your parents made or a whole other topic about their problems, just nod your head and say okay.
