The Shield made their debut in the WWE in November 2012, at the Survivor Series pay-per-view. They interfered in the middle of the WWE Championship match between John Cena, Ryback, and CM Punk, and started attacking Ryback, and then proceeded to triple powerbomb him through the announcer's table.
