Slaves have been around for centuries and it still goes on. In ancient Greece and Rome slaves were taken, sold, and stolen as a part of life. Pirates had trade routes that they used to sell slaves. War often resulted in slavery. If a person didn't die in the war they often were taken as a slave. ancient Rome was built by slaves.
