Nortenos are a mostly Mexican gang that's under the Blood Alliance along with other gangs such as the Bloods, Pirus, & Brims to name a few. Their biggest rivals are gangs under the Mexican Mafia(Surenos, MS-13 & Eighteen Street) to name a few, and the Crips. Nortenos wear the color red to show their affiliation to the Blood Alliance.

Technically, the Scraps have a greater number. However, even with them being bigger, they still can't get rid of the Nortenos. In Northern Cali, or where ever the Norteno Homeboys are, you'll find the ones putting it down for the North. You will hear the Scraps saying their taking over, but if they are, why are the Nortenos still here, still taking Scraps out?
