Hispanics from Northern California, from Pretty much everywhere above Bakersfield split from La Eme and formed their own organization, naming it Nuestra Familia. Norteños dominated northern California, being the largest organization with a highly strong presence and influence in the Central Valley, The Bay Area, Monterrey County, and Sacramento. however, Sureños were still present in northern California. Their numbers are very small, and despite a majority of them being born and raised from the north, they still choose to represent the south. Mainly due to them being rejected by the norteños when trying to join, So they run off and join a local “gang” that reps the sureños, when in reality they are just tweakers that smoke meth all day and dress like they still in the 90’s.
