The fourth crusade was launched by the pope. It proved to be really disastrous. The crusaders stole valuable pieces of art, burned libraries so they can pay off their debt to Venice bankers.
The "Children's Crusade" of 1212 AD. It was a thought that God said in the Bible that lead the children to the glory of God, etc etc, meant that you need to send your toddlers off to fight and attempt to kill big middle aged and younger 20's Muslim men.
This question denotes a specific 'date' as seems to have been mentioned by 'Dark wizard 3' which is a bit troublesome as more or less all of the crusading bodies set off at different times in 1096. If you would like a specific date to pin it down on I would probably prescribe the 27th of November 1095 because this is the date which Pope Urban gives his speech at Clermont - this is the beginning of the Crusade in my eyes.I would also like to refute the previous answer to this question which suggests the crusades were somehow started as a result of Muslims wanting Jerusalem - the city had been there for the better part of 400 years and as such this is complete nonsense and pseudo-history. No historian would agree with this absurd understanding of the First Crusade. For more information I advise reading the works of Jonathan Philips or if you're just looking for a light overview then Geoffrey Hindley's 'The Crusades' (which has an expanded title but google that and it will come up).Hope that helps!
I think that he was a good emperor because unlike some other emperors he didn't start off nice then turn bad. He was always for the people. Rome reached its extent when he was ruling. And he didn't force poor people to pay taxes For more info visit Wikipedia
Break through bleeding is quite common in the first few months, you should continue taking the pills in the packet - after they are gone begin a new packet.
Saladin took Jerusalem in the Second Crusade, specifically in October of 1187. In the Third Crusade, Saladin started off in control of Jerusalem and Richard the Lionheart abandoned his marches on Jerusalem upon signing the Treaty of Jaffa. As a result, Saladin never lost control of Jerusalem during the Third Crusade and never had to retake it.
The Burning Crusade is a name for the push by heroes in Azeroth to open the gate between Azeroth and Outland. The Draeni and Blood Elves were closed off from Azeroth by the third war. The main point of the Crusade is to defeat Illidan Stormrage in the Black Temple.
they weren't good at fighting __ It was disorganised, leaderless and lacked military skills. It was basically a rabble marching off to war.
It is said that Robin Loxley went with king Richards to fight in the third crusade but returned from service. This could mean that the third crusade went on for many years after robin came home and wrought havoc or he returned with king Richard, at which time the lionheart went off to lead another crusade and robin stayed, the facts aren't clear mate.
Getting off to a bad start, making a bad first impression, getting someone upset with you at the start of a relationship.
