The Treaty caused Germany to

A) Keep a limited amount of troops (Around 100,000 and no U-Boats or Air Craft)
B) Accept the guilt of being responsible for the war (In a time where pride was something, and where it was Serbia in reality)
C) Pay 30 billion in Reprimands for damage to France and Belgium (Approx. 15 Trillion now)

And more than likely the biggest causes:

D) Reduce Germany's overall territory and also divide up any part of the country that wished to be it's own country (Including the division of Germany into 2 parts).
E) Enforce a Democracy

These were Hitler's main points for coming into power.

"Reuniting the Fatherland"
Many of the surrounding countries still had quite a population of German/German Speaking residents, and dissent of being controlled by others (Much like Canada/India's International Affairs prior).

"Hitler was the President"
Hitler was elected/Put into power (I can't remember the specifics). Many of the things he did were actually all-in-all legal and correct (Much like Southern State Senitors in the US were proven to be KKK members while African-Americans were still under slavery)

Did remilitarization contribute to the outbreak of World War 2?

The Nazi Party efforts to remilitarize did contribute to the outbreak of World War 2. They were not supposed to do that under the Treaty of the Versailles. They they invaded Poland they broke the point that said they could not wage war against other nations. This also broke the Munich Pact. This upset the UK and the French peoples. Thus the war was sparked.
